Sunday Mornings

We meet at 10.30am each Sunday in Hessle Memorial Hall (1A Salisbury Street, Hessle HU13 0SE) and you are very welcome to join us.

It is a joy to meet together to worship God and in glorifying Him corporately, we declare our love and thankfulness to Him.

During the service:

  • We sing together to praise God.

  • We say a confession, asking God to forgive our sins, as we look to Jesus Christ our saviour.

  • We join together to say a creed to declare what we believe.

  • We are lead in prayer to our Father in heaven.

  • Each month we share the Lord's Supper together, feeding on him in our hearts by faith.

  • We read and preach the Bible because the Bible is God's Word to us. Our sermons are normally expository which means our typical pattern is to preach passage by passage through complete books of the Bible.

Refreshments are served after the service has finished.

For Children

We rejoice in worshipping God together as a mix of all ages and so we aim for the children to be part of the service and always include a Church Family Bible slot tailored to them.

We also recognise that the sermon is not always accessible to children's understanding and so we provide a dedicated group during the sermon called Lighthouse for children aged 0-11 years old to facilitate their learning and understanding of God’s word through lessons, games and songs.

Please complete this consent form for your children to attend.

Sunday Evenings

Each Sunday evening we meet again, this time at St Mary's College (6.30pm, Mary's College Sixth Form, Inglemire Lane, Hull, HU6 7TN) for an evening service together with the three other churches in our Network. The Network service is a chance to be encouraged by hearing how God has been at work across our four churches in the city. This service is live streamed on YouTube.

Refreshments are served from 5.45 - 6.15pm before hand.

Food and Fellowship

Each month on the third Sunday, we stay after the service to enjoy lunch together. This is followed by a topical seminar where we rigorously apply scripture to all aspects of our lives together, prayerfully expectant that we will be equipped for the good works prepared for us by the Lord.

The upcoming topics for each term are published on the term card.
